Shelley Tipnis-Mihm is a New York City-based consultant with a deep-rooted passion for both business and the arts. Before transitioning to consulting during her MBA at Columbia Business School, Shelley spent ten years as a professional opera singer, performing in choral and operatic settings across the city where singers were often underpaid, undervalued, and faced uninspired programming. These experiences make the mission of The Sound Between especially meaningful to her. Now, as a Human Capital Senior Consultant at Deloitte, where she works with life sciences companies, Shelley applies her expertise to enhance organizational effectiveness. In addition to her role at Deloitte, she is dedicated to nonprofit consulting in the arts, driven by her commitment to supporting organizations like The Sound Between.
