Tomás Cruz is an experimental, choral, and contemporary singer based in New York City. With a background in jazz, he began his career in the chorus of Philip Glass’ opera Einstein on the Beach. He has since worked with Leon Bridges, Yebba Smith, Damien Rice, David Lang, Toshi Reagon, Steve Reich, and was featured on SNL and Arturo O’Farrill’s Grammy Award-winning album Four Questions. Ongoing projects include experimental ensemble Ekmeles, pop a cappella group Duwende, the St. Thomas Choir of Men & Boys, Trinity Wall Street, vocal jazz group West Side 5, and new music group The Crossing.
